Ethics of Scientific Publication in the Journal of the Indonesian Health Information Management Journal (JHIMI)

JHIMI Journal is a journal managed by the Applied Health Information Management Undergraduate Study Program, Polytechnic Indonusa Surakarta, which was first published in 2022. JHIMI Journal is a scientific journal published online and publishes research articles in the field of Health Information Management, and other Health Sector, which consists of the scope: 1. Nursing, 2. Public health, 3. Pharmacy, 4. Medical Laboratory Technology, 5. Recorders and health information, 6. Midwifery, 7. Health analysts, 8. Technology/Health Information Systems, and science other health. This statement of the scientific code of ethics is a statement of the code of ethics from all parties involved in the publication process of this scientific journal, namely managers, editors, review partners, and authors. The Code of Ethics for Scientific Publications essentially upholds three ethical values ​​in publications, namely (i) Neutrality, which is free from conflicts of interest in the management of publications; (ii) Justice, namely giving authorship rights to those who have the right to be creators; and (iii) Honesty, which is free from duplication, fabrication, forgery, and plagiarism.

Publisher Responsibilities

The publisher of the JHIMI Journal, namely the Applied Undergraduate Study Program in Health Information Management, Polytechnic Indonusa Surakarta is responsible for publishing the manuscript which after going through the editing, review and layout process is in accordance with the rules for publishing the JHIMI Journal. The Publisher is also responsible for ensuring academic freedom for the editors and Mitrabestari in carrying out their respective duties and the Publisher is responsible for maintaining privacy and protecting intellectual property and copyright, as well as editorial freedom.

Editor's Responsibilities

JHIMI editors are responsible for deciding which manuscripts are eligible for publication through editorial board meetings that refer to applicable legal requirements related to defamation, copyright infringement, duplication, data falsification, data falsification, and plagiarism. In the process of reviewing and receiving manuscripts, the JHIMI editorial team is based on the principle of equality of treatment in making decisions to publish manuscripts without distinction of race, gender, religion, ethnicity, and nationality of the author. The editorial team and editorial team of JHIMI Journal will not disclose any information regarding the submitted manuscripts or manuscripts except with the permission of the author. Unpublished manuscripts will not be used by the research editors of the Indonesian Journal of Health Information Management (JHIMI) for their own benefit and will be returned directly to the authors.

Responsibilities of reviewers

Reviewers of the Indonesian Health Information Management Journal (JHIMI) assist the editor in making editorial decisions on incoming manuscripts/manuscripts. Reviewers of the Indonesian Health Information Management Journal (JHIMI) are responsible for the recommendations of the reviewed manuscripts. Manuscript reviews are carried out objectively, and are supported by clear arguments. JHIMI Journal reviewers must always maintain the confidentiality of information and not use information from the reviewed manuscript for personal interests.

Author's Responsibilities

The author must present the text of his thoughts or research clearly, honestly, and without duplication, falsification of data, falsification of data, and plagiarism. The author is responsible for the sent confirmation of the written manuscript. Authors must indicate references to the opinions and works of others cited. The author is obliged to write the manuscript ethically, honestly and responsibly, in accordance with the applicable scientific writing regulations. The author does not mind if the manuscript undergoes editing in the review and layout process without changing the substance or main idea of ​​the article.
